The Ultimate Public Campground Project was conceived in 2008 to provide a consolidated and comprehensive source for public campgrounds of all types. Our campground has the perfect place to take a stroll where you can fully enjoy the sights of the river and the delightful scents of the forest. We have a convenient put-in and take-out for private boaters and fishermen, so you can spend all the time you want fishing in the river! 4. If you want to head out on your boat, our Smoky Mountain campground offers boat access so you can easily get your boat in and out of the water. Summer is the perfect season for fishing in the Smokies, so you will love our location directly on the Pigeon River! You will find an abundance of trout and smallmouth bass fish as you wander along the river bank.
